Healing rarely moves in straight lines. It loops, rewinds, and takes detours through old memories. These are the phases of healing after trauma, survival, rebuilding, regulation, and expansion, each one teaching the body what safety feels like again.

You don’t need a fancy quiz platform for this, just honesty. Healing isn’t linear, it’s more like weather. Some days are thunder, others just grey clouds moving on. Below are short reflections to help you sense where you might be right now.

No scoring, no right answers, only clues from your body and mind.

Results

Mostly A’s — Survival Phase

Your system is still protecting you. Nothing is wrong with that; it’s ancient wiring doing its job. Focus on the basics: eating regularly, warmth, hydration, slow movement. Safety before strategy.

Mostly B’s — Rebuilding Phase

You’ve left crisis mode but feel heavy and disoriented. The world looks the same, yet you’re not. This is where structure helps: gentle routines, sunlight, predictable meals, connection in small doses.

Mostly C’s — Regulation Phase

You’re learning the language of your body again, noticing, naming, pausing. Keep reinforcing it through breathwork, journaling, or grounding rituals. Consistency turns awareness into safety.

Mostly D’s — Expansion Phase

You’re moving from survival to creation. Energy returns in waves; purpose begins to feel real again. Stay grounded while you reach integration is the key here.

Soft Takeaway

Healing isn’t about rushing from A to D. It’s a spiral; sometimes you’ll revisit older phases with new understanding.

Whichever stage you’re in, it’s still progress, your nervous system is learning that safety is allowed.
