Welcome to Slowly Returning
This is a healing space for the ones who don’t always feel real.
For those who have floated, disappeared, shut down, or lost touch with themselves.
For the ones healing from dissociation, DPDR, trauma, and everything no one could see.
I created this space for you —the quiet feeler, the sensitive soul, the one still finding her way back.
Here, you’ll find gentle tools for nervous system healing, emotional reconnection, and creative reflection.
No pressure.
Welcome back.
Even if you’re still on your way.

Press Play To Feel Safe
This space is for the moments when your nervous system needs something familiar, something calm — something that doesn’t ask you to be okay right away.
Let these sounds hold you.
You don’t need to feel real to be real. You’re still here. Let the sound anchor you.
About Me
My name is Indy. I’m a trauma survivor, writer, and digital creator building a healing-centered blog for people living with dissociation, DPDR (Depersonalization/Derealization), and nervous system dysregulation.
After experiencing a nervous system collapse triggered by trauma and emotional overload, I lived in a state of severe dissociation for months. I couldn’t feel real, couldn’t connect to my body, and floated through life in what felt like a dream.
At the time, I found very little helpful or relatable content about this experience — so I started creating what I desperately needed to find.

Journey Into My Shadows
I couldn’t find a journal that held space for the parts of me I had hidden, silenced, or abandoned. So I made one — soft, deep, and honest.
